After reading this entry for today....I actually scrolled down from 2/15 and I feel your pain. I am a mother of a beautiful 17 year old young lady...(baby girl) and just last night I was writing a note to go along with her Senior ad for the yearbook. (tear & double tear) I so very often do everything for my children and at times I realize I am doing them a disservice by doing that, but I love them with all my heart and sometimes its just easier. I too have pushed and prodded for her to get the scholarship stuff complete and I too want to jump in there and just do it. But I know I can't. Thank you for sharing this and I thank God that you were real. It is tough raising teens and its going to be even tougher to watch as they enter the next chapter of their lives. I just pray that we have shown them the most important thing....the love of Christ and that they know that we love them unconditionally. In the end, the scholarships, the senior ads, the cap & gown, doesn't really matter, what does matter is that we gave them a firm foundation on which to build their lives on. Cause without faith in Jesus Christ they will fail. Thank you again!!(I also have 2 boys - one is 13 (wow boys are different!) and the other is 6. You have blessed me today and have given me some hope that I am not the only one in the boat!!!!Piperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10713421156460012075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-481719473941267483.post-16051456672850574472011-02-12T20:52:28.560-06:002011-02-12T20:52:28.560-06:00You are such a good Mom!
