When did it happen,

Where did it go,

Time, it's gone anything but slow.

You're 16 today, my heart leaps for joy,

and yet it is sad because you are no longer a little boy.

You're growing up into such a wonderful young man,

Right before my eyes, a strong man stands.

With trepidation in your heart,

But hope in your eyes,

You march forward in life,

Run it strong son, to win the prize.

Never slow down, persevere and be strong,

God loves you sweet one.

So on this, your special day,

your mom is shouting out,

YOU TOTALLY ROCK MY WORLD!!

As you've guessed today is Dakota's 16th birthday!! He is so terrific, really and truly. He has such a sweet heart. We will be enjoying a day of fun and fun oh yeah and some more FUN!!
