Sunday Letters

I missed a whole week of blogging.
Dumb back.
Anyway.....
I'm back with Sunday Letters.
YAY!!!

My darling Sir Cuteness,

You got a dry erase notebook
for Christmas
and you are loving it.
Here you are writing.

Look at these amazing letters.
You are doing great!!!

This week has found us getting a little more
back to normal after all the snow
and bad weather we have had.

You are the funniest little guy.
The funniest.
=)
Hahahaha!!!

I look forward to every moment we get to spend
together.
You are the best little buddy.

I love you sweet boy ~~ Grandma

My Dear Mr. Winslow,

We have had such a quiet weekend.
It cracked me up yesterday
when we went to WalMart and
really didn't have anything we needed.
I asked you if this meant
we were getting old
and starting our daily runs to WalMart
just to get out of the house.

We crack me up.

You are continuing to help me
with my back.
I am so grateful.
You are THE BEST!!!

I love you my dear man ~~

Sunday Letters

Oh My Dear Sir Cuteness,

You are the funniest little guy.
You were in time out on Friday,
and I look over and this is what you were doing.
Yep, even time out can be fun =)
You make all things more fun.

You and PaPa have been playing H-O-R-S-E in the living
room with your little portable basketball goal.

It snowed again last night
and the cold is going to
be brutal,
so you are fighting cabin fever with things
like dragging your b-ball goal into the living room
And you and the iPad have been hanging out quite a bit.
Oh how you wish you could be outside.

We have a picture hanging in the living room
that depicts a man nailing Jesus to the cross.
It is depicting our sin is what nailed Him there.
You figured out all by yourself that it was Jesus' cross.
We were so proud of you.
You are learning,
and we are praying for your tender heart.

I love you my precious Sir Cuteness.

Oh My Dear Mr. Winslow,

You are the kindest, sweetest man.
You love me like Christ loves the church.
When I hurt,
you hurt.
When I am tired you help me
and just start doing things that need to be done.
I never have to ask you.
You are truly a blessing to me.

Our dryer died last week.
What is it with our appliances lately.
First the dishwasher
now the dryer.
You had us go right out and get a new one.
I told you I could go the laundry mat
for awhile.
You wouldn't even hear of it!
Nope.
We bought a dryer that night.

Sir Cuteness jumped right in
to help get the laundry room ready
for our pretty, new dryer.
So sweet.

I am such a Blessed woman to have you as my
man for always.
I love you darling ~~ dawn

A Little Lift and A Little Tuck!! ~~ & Sunday Letters

HaHa...
Nice title huh?
No I didn't have any work done,
my blog did =)

Isn't she lovely?
Isn't she wonderful?

I love it SO much!!!
I have been wanting a streamlined clean look
for a long time,
but I'm just not great at doing them by myself.
At least not like this.

I "met" this lovely lady Karen
back in October.
She lives in Ireland.
How great is that?!!
She made a button for me during the Nester's
month long series,
and I asked her if she would consider redoing my blog.
She happily said yes,
and here we are today,
all dolled up and ready for the new year.

I love it SO SO MUCH!!!

So if you'd like
please visit her blog and look at
the loveliness that will ensue.
She is just the sweetest
and working with her has been
a complete pleasure.

Oh my darling Sir Cuteness,
This week has been a whirlwind of all
things Christmas!!
You have enjoyed yourself thoroughly!

You say THE funniest things!!
I was trying to get iTunes to
work on my new phone,
and PaPa told me I needed to call
iTunes itself,
and I said I'd have better luck
getting through to the President
to which you said,
"He can't help you!"
hahaha
in that very matter a fact tone.
You are SO funny!!!

You love your new punching bag.
It is electronic and tells you where to punch
and kick.
We are so enjoying you grow!!

Last night the space station went over head,
and we went out to watch it.
It was a little cloudy,
so we couldn't see it really clearly,
but you were just fascinated with it
and how fast it went.
It was out of sight rather quickly,
for a space station that is =)

Thank you for being you little man.
I love you to the moon and back,
Grandma

Dear Mr. Winslow,

Well Christmas is over,
the tree is down,
and you feel better about life =)

Thank you for helping me get the tree down
and put away.
I so appreciate it.
When this knee gets to feeling better
I'll clean the garage =)
(We both know how funny that is.)
hahaha

Thank you for buying me a new dryer yesterday.
Our appliances apparently are feeling their
age.
But the dryer is gorgeous and will be a workhorse
I'm sure.
Can't wait for delivery.
On Tuesday.
You'll have to dig me out of the laundry.
I'll be the one on the bottom =)

I love you my man.
Thank you for loving me back.
Dawn

Tomorrow I'll be posting about all things
A Winslow Christmas.
I do hope you'll come on over and join me.
And in the mean time,
enjoy the makeover.
I sure am!!

Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day ~~

Sunday Letters

Sir Cuteness,

You are the sweetest thing.
You are loving ALL things Christmas.
This picture I took before church last Sunday.
You look so sweet in your sweater.

You have the best heart,
and love to give gifts.
You and I went Christmas shopping
for gifts for
your PaPa,
Daddy
Mommy.
You picked wonderful gifts,
and today we finished wrapping them.

You wanted to sign all your gifts
this year.
Be.Still.My.Heart.

Seeing this I could cry from the sweetness alone
my babe.

You had a scary accident at school on Friday.
You hit your neck on the way down
falling off the jungle gym.
You have a really bad spot on your neck.
Your teacher put a bandaide on it
and you wouldn't let us take it off last night,
because you said it would bleed all over us and all over the covers
and you didn't want it to get on us.
Hahahaha
I'm pretty sure it was not that bad.
You are so cute!!
=)

Today we have been chillin'
because the weather is icky.
You discovered today that you like old westerns.
It is so very funny.
You asked me if it was in the old days.
Indeed it was little man.
Indeed it was.

You are such a joy to us.
We love you so!!!

My Mr. Winslow,

You have lead two different Bible Studies this week
and you have done it with grace and beauty.
I know it is not easy to teach two at once,
but you do it seamlessly.
I know you study SO much,
and you pray intently over these.
You desire to be exactly in the will of the Father.
You thrill my heart with the way you love Jesus,
and us.
It is truly inspiring.

I have been having some bad health days lately.
I know it is so hard for you to see me in pain.
You have had me on bed rest this weekend  =)
I really appreciate EVERYTHING you do
to make me feel better.
You are just the best my darling.
THE.BEST.

I love you for always ~~ dawn

Sunday Letters ~~ Project Grad Edition

My Dear Dak,

What a week it has been. On Monday, May 9th 2011, you graduated from Clever High School with honors. We are SO proud of you!!!

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of fun activities. Now that it is over, I feel like we can breathe and enjoy the next three months before college. I'm so proud of you my boy.

On Monday night, after graduation, we went to Project Grad. What a blast!!!

Here is Miss Alyssa being beautiful on the bus. You took this picture. What a GREAT picture. It captures her foot-loose-and-fancy-free spirit perfectly.

You and Alyssa rocking it out =)

~~ Graduated Seniors Class of 2011 ~~

Pizza ~~ need I say more .....

Some of the girls hanging out!!

Me and Alyssa ~~ she is so mean to me =) hahaha

You and Kaili ~~ What a sweet girl.....

Okay, really? heehee

Okay, so this totally and completely cracked.me.up.
You have a lot of aggies in your class who apparently wanted to play basketball and didn't bring (or don't own) tennis shoes.

So what's a boy to do? Play in your boots, of course!! =) hahahahahaha heeheeheeheehee

Okay so Airelle's swimsuit wins BEST swimsuit of the night in my book.
So pretty and modest. Loved it and LOVE her!!!!!

You had such a fun time. I'm so glad things went SO well!!

Well that was Monday night. We slept Tuesday, and then Wednesday here I come!! I went in your room and told you graduation was over and now life begins. You need to get up and get to looking for a job. hahahaha

You obliged and on Thursday found a job at Price Cutters in the deli department. You will be training in the cold meat deli first and then you will go to a different store and train in their Bistro and then you will be trained in both, because the PC that you will be working at is building a Bistro as we speak. So proud of you!!!

(You call Tuesday to find out what day you start. It will either be Next Sunday or the following Saturday, depending on payroll.)

You've been enjoying BBQ's and hanging out with friends and lots of Tennis Districts. Things will be slower for you this week.

I found a quote that I will be using in your Senior Scrap-Memory Book. It says:

YOU ARE CAPABLE OF DOING AND BECOMING

MORE THAN YOU REALIZE ~~

I love that quote!! And it is so true son. THE SKY'S THE LIMIT!!!!! With God ALL THINGS are possible. You can do ALL THINGS through Christ!!!

I Love you for always ~~ mom

************************

My Dear Sir Cuteness,

You are SO hilarious!! Yesterday you even told me something was hilarious. Cracks.me.up. to see such a BIG word come out of such a little dude =)

You have been sick this week and even ended up at the hospital. You have a really bad cold that went respritory, so you are now on breathing treatments for a while. You have a dragon mask that is so cute. You told your mama that you wanted "to wear it forever" =)

So we were playing outside this week and I had to come in and get something. When we came in you were wheezing, so I told you that you couldn't play outside for a while. So you crawled up in my lap and started tugging at your mouth. I asked you what you were doing, because it looked like you were trying to pull a hair out of your mouth. You looked at me with all seriousness and said:

"I'm trying to get the wheeze out my mouth."

hahahahahaha You crack.me.up.

You've gotten to where you like PaPa to start our evening prayers at bedtime, but then you take off and say your own. It is the sweetest thing I've ever seen, Sir Cuteness. You kneel on our bed and bury your little head in your hands and pray for Granny (my mom), Papa Wesley (Dick's Dad) and then last night for Frosty, as in the Snowman. LOVE that and LOVE YOU!!!

Love you to the moon, Moon, MOON ~~ Gamma

*****************************

My Mr. Winslow,

You are on 7 10's again. WOW that is a lot of hours. You are working so hard, and I'm so proud of you. You have a hard job, but NO ONE does it like you!!!

You are coming home a little early today. I hope you can rest.

We ordered you a couple of books yesterday too. You love to read. I hope having a couple new books will also help you to relax =)

Thank you for all that you do for us.

You are my hero.

I love you Sweetie ~~ Petrii

You and Eliza Anne, looked just beautiful together.

She looked just stunning.

And your off =)

You had such a good time. Y'all danced and "kept your distance" and you had a GREAT time!!
All the pictures are just so good and funny. Y'all ate at "Nonnie's". You said it was delicious and expensive =) You loved it though.

Then you went to an after party at Melissa's and your allergies went crazy like they always do at Melissa's =) but you still enjoyed yourself immensely.

Tonight we went to Baccelaurate. It was so beautiful. The speaker was great and the reception was delicious. They really did a good job for you all.

Son, tomorrow night is graduation. WOW!!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!! I know that most people do graduate from High School, but you are graduating with honors and scholarships. You have worked so hard. I love you so much. God has so Blessed my life with you, my dear child.

So, onto Monday now. Tennis Districts at 3:00 PM, Graduation at 8:00 PM and Project Graduation after that. Busy day, busy time with you my dear boy. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love you so ~~ Mom

Sir Cuteness,

You have been so sick this week. You had to go to the hospital. You had to have a breathing treatment and steroids, but they gave you a dragon mask to wear with your nebulizer, and when you got back to your mama's you told her, "Mama, I never want to take it off!" =) You crack.me.up.

I love you to the moon, Moon, MOON ~~ Gamma
