A Journey of Perspective Day 5: 31 Days of Change - Godly Counsel

So yesterday we talked about 

discouragement and disappointment.

Today I'd like to share with you one way 

(and there are many)

to over come them, 

and to start to have a Godly perspective 

regarding them.

I am convinced that the greatest counsel

we will EVER receive, is the counsel

of the Father.  He wants us to know freedom

from the things in our lives that would 

like to keep us bound.

Bound up in pain.

Bound up in discouragement.

Bound up in ourselves.

We are never better counseled than

when we are in the Word of God.

I am preaching to myself here.

In 2 Peter 1:3 Peter writes:

"3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence..."

God has given us divine power in all things that 

pertain to life and to Godliness.

This is huge!  

But we must know Him.  

Know His Word.  

Commit to walking closely with Him.

When we do these things,

we are changed,

our perspectives change.
