I thought I'd share my first whole foods recipe of the month of May.
It was so easy and delish ~~ enjoy.
Morning Millet
1/2 Cup (generous) Millet, cooked ~~ Can use brown rice or another whole grain
1/2 Banana
1/2 Cup Unsweetned Almond Milk
Mix together and microwave 30 seconds. Add 1 teaspoon almond butter (I used fresh ground) and microwave another 15 seconds. Stir. Enjoy!!
Banana is a natural sweetner. I'm trying to stay away from sweetners during this month, and really thought this would be very bland, but it was surprisingly flavorful and delicious. Yep, it's a keeper!!!
