Pasta Con Delicious Broccoli

Your lips and tummy will be thanking me for this recipe. MMMMM!!!!!

This got my husbands very big seal of approval ~~ He'll be taking it as left overs tomorrow. Yep that means he likes it ~~ YAY!!!

Pasta Con Delicious Broccoli

2-3 pieces of chicken, cut into cubes

1/2 lb Rigatoni (a nice tube pasta works will for this recipe)

1 big bunch broccoli

1 8-oz can mushrooms

1/2 stick butter

2 cups half-n-half

8 oz can tomato sauce

salt and pepper and garlic salt to taste

Arrow Root or Cornstarch Slurry

Put Rigatoni in boiling water and boil for 15 minutes. Add broccoli into the pot in the last 3 minutes of cooking.

While Rigatoni is cooking, add the chicken to a skillet with a little olive oil and cook until done, set aside. Put butter into pan you cooked chicken in and add the mushrooms, cook for about 1 min. Turn heat down a little and add tomato sauce and half-n-half, add slurry and cook until a little thickened.

Add the chicken back to the pan.

Put pasta and broccoli on plate and add the sauce to the pasta and stir, add Italian Cheese to the top and a little dried basil. Serve with a nice French Baguette.
