Satisfy

Oh God,
You are my God;
Earnestly I seek You,
My soul thirsts for You,
My flesh faints for You,
As in a dry and weary land
Where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1

God is our only source of true satisfaction.
We will always and only find our hope in Him.
In our human condition
we will try to find it in other ways,
in other people,
in possessions,
in jobs,
but ultimately, the only thing that satisfies
is a life-giving relationship with the
One who knit us together in our
mother's wombs,
and declares over us that we are fearfully and wonderfully
made.

Let the longing in your heart for Jesus
be stronger than the longing in your heart for
anything else.
Because truly, NOTHING satisfies like Him.

Let us cry out with the Psalmist today.
Spend time in His Presence as you fast and seek Him.
Hide away a few moments and thank Him,
praise Him,
seek Him in this dry and weary land.

He wants to hear from YOU!
He fearfully and wonderfully made you in His image.
Never doubt that He hears
and
that He loves.
You.
