Hiding God's Word in my heart

WOW so I have so many posts to read and catch up on and to write as well. This weekend was SO much fun, starting with Friday night and Sir Cuteness' B-day party.

Okay so here is a little eye candy for you ~~
I mean seriously ~~ how cute is he?!!
Yep the cutest thing in icing going =)
I heart him so!!!!!

I have many more pics to show you from Friday night and then some really fun shots from Saturday, ya know just hanging out at Gigi and Papap's ~~ yep a fun time was had by all. Anytime Sir Cuteness is around, fun abounds!!!!!

But since this is August 3rd it is high time I post my Memory Verse(s) (in this case) for the first two weeks in August.

First my verse from the latter half of July.

Isaiah 12:2-3 "Surely God is my salvation. I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, The LORD is my strength and song, He has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.

This time there are two verses from different books of the Bible that I'll be memorizing.

First one is Jonah 2:8 "Those who cling to worthless idols forfeit the grace that could be theirs."

And second:

Jeremiah 32:17 "Ah, Sovereign LORD, You have made the heavens and the earth with Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You!"

I love these verses and they both are personally speaking to me and my family during this season of our lives. God has so been showing up in powerful ways in our lives and it is so important that He is first. Otherwise whatever is first is a worthless idol and we are forfeiting the grace that could be ours. It causes me pain to even think that I would forfeit (give away) such a beautiful gift from my Savior.

The verse out of Jeremiah is one that we have been clinging to as well. NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR GOD!!NOTHING.

I hope you all had a beautiful, wonderful, fun-filled weekend. This week will be another busy one for us, at least the first part of it. Today is a major cleaning day and tomorrow is senior day at the fair and I'm taking mom. She is so excited. She hasn't been in years. It should be a lot of fun. Yes I am taking my camera RJ. No worries =-)

Also be looking for another post loaded down with pics from the weekend. Oh my stars, yep just find a Sonic near you and enjoy =0)

Love ya ~~ Have a Blessed Monday,
