Well it may have a funny name, but it was a beautiful place to have a meet. The drive was really nice (about an hour and a half).
So just a few pics of my sweet boy....doing his sweet thing.....on chat......in a hay field.....and the home stretch, next to a ball field....
Ready...Set....GO..... !!!!!
And you thought I was kidding about the hay field.....
Home stretching it.... Run Dak.....
RUN BABY!!!!!
My baby had his best time of the season and 2nd best time of his career...18:43 ~~ WOW!!! GREAT JOB SON!!
Stop it ~~ I know ~~ me and my sweet boy~~ I LOVE this kid so!!!
Okay so in this pic I have on a long sleeve shirt, a t-shirt over it, a jean jacket and Dak's jacket that you see here and I was just starting to get warm when he needed his jacket back. It was a little chilly =)
So let me leave you this video today. I saw this on FB early this morning. It was one of the most inspiring things ever. Please sit and enjoy a few moments with Nick...
Love you ~~
Psalm 27:1 (New International Version)
Psalm 27
Of David.
"1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?"
Have a Blessed day,
what a fantastic time he had!!! WOW!!!! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI love the bales of hay! They shoulda let some animals roam... give a challenge to the runners! :)
Congrats Dak! He is doing great this season. The hay field cracks me up...reminds me of something our small town would do. Host a big event but you have to run through a hay field. Hysterical!! Glad you guys had safe travels and a great meet.
ReplyDeleteA great time!
ReplyDeleteI remember meets that my son had during CC. It did get a bit chilly. I remember one meet that it was actually starting to snow before we were finished. But it was worth it to see him run.
